The Dead Daisies @ The El Rey Theatre – 08/25/2017The Dead Daisies played The El Rey Theatre, in Los Angeles on August 25, 2017. Dark, gothic and sexy, the atmosphere is set for a night of rock with giants hailing from some of the biggest acts in touring history. Each member holds their own connection to super groups such as Whitesnake, Dio, Motley Crue, and Ozzy just to name a few. This band has had a revolving line-up since its conception in 2012. Today the dust has settled and clearly the perfect cast of players has been assembled much to the likes of fans and critics across the globe.

The Dead Daisies, possibly the hardest working band in recent memory, have been touring in support of The Dead Daisies Live & Louder CD & DVD and the Make Some Noise CD for what seems like three straight years. The band started touring in 2014 in New Zealand with stops all throughout the world including Cuba, Germany, United Kingdom, Israel, Japan, Korea and South America, a quick stint with Nascar, and finally landing on the West Coast of the U.S with two dates in California.

The Dead Daisies are exceptionally tight from all their touring. The band looked healthy, fit and obviously very happy to be in Los Angeles, home base for some of the members. Amusing anecdotes by singer John Corabi, hard to call Corabi the frontman of the band, seems Doug Aldrich-guitarist, Marco Mendoza-bassist and David Lowry-guitarist all have a hand at steering the band, along with fan favorite and drummer Brian Tichy.

Immediately, and I mean immediately after the show, The Dead Daisies did a meet & greet and signed everything that was put in front of them. They met with everyone, did selfies and possibly shook every hand in the house.

The Dead Daisies gave such a great show that this reviewer drove to San Diego to catch the second night of their Southern California engagement. Again, the hardest working band I’ve seen in a long time. Great performance, music and showmanship. It’s been a long journey for The Dead Daisies. Support music and buy The Dead Daisies Live & Louder CD & DVD. You won’t regret it.
