Successful solo artist and Fleetwood Mac vocalist/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham brought his Seeds We Sow tour to the City National Grove in Anaheim Monday night October 17 just days after his Fleetwood Mac band mate Stevie Nicks rocked The Grove – Anaheim sure got its fix of Fleetwood Mac classics between the two. The Seeds We Sow tour is in support of Buckingham’s latest solo album of the same name which was released back in September. At about 8:40pm Lindsey Buckingham kicked off a 90 minute set of music from his entire career. Buckingham began the night alone on the stage playing five songs with just an acoustic guitar that included one of his most popular solo hits “Trouble” and the Fleetwood Mac song “Never Going Back Again”.

Joined onstage by his backing band after the fifth song the performance included a great mixture of tracks off his new album, older solo material and several Fleetwood Mac classics. The Fleetwood Mac song “Go Your Own Way” was the standout of the night as Buckingham demonstrated his incredible guitar skills especially with the guitar solo at the end of the song. Adding to the music was Lindsey’s spoken introductions to most of the songs which added a personal appeal lyrical meaning to each song. For a 62 yr old musician Lindsey’s voice sounded great and he appeared vibrant and healthy.

The ¾ packed venue was enthusiastic throughout the set with the crowd often on their feet dancing and cheering. Buckingham thanked the crowd for their continued support after all these years and ended the night with another solo performance this time the title track from the new album Seeds We Sow.
