Seven months into 2021 and the world has begun to return to a bit of normalcy after 18 months of dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic – masks are no longer required and vaccinations are plenty. All this means that live music is back and one of the first superstars to tour across the USA is violinist, dancer, performance extraordinaire, and composer Lindsey Stirling who is taking her Artemis Tour 2021 from coast to coast in support of her 2019 album of the same name. Sterling kicked off this amazing tour on Saturday night July 3 at The Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, MO. Along for the ride in the opening slot is Canadian singer Kiesza.

There was a buzz in the air as you could tell the fans were delighted to be back at a concert venue for some live entertainment. Kiesza is out supporting her 2020 album Crave. This is Kiesza’s first major tour since her traumatic car accident in 2017 that left her unable to move let along sing or perform. Well this performance was proof she has made a full recovery as her performance left those in attendance primed and ready for Lindsey Stirling to hit the stage. Patty Schemel, former Hole drummer is touring with Kiesza this summer as an added bonus.

Lindsey Stirling took the stage and somehow continues to top every previous tour she has completed. Every Lindsey Stirling performance is not just a concert but a magical journey featuring dancing, set changes, costume changes and lots of violin. The ultra-flexible performer plays her violin to perfection as she dances across the stage often leaping and contorting herself while never missing a beat.

Stirling’s smile was infectious throughout the entire night as she appeared to be just as excited to be back onstage performing as the fans were to be out watching her. She opened the show with the song “Artemis” and played all her hits and included a Disney Medley while her dog Luna came out on the stage with a yellow balloon tied around her neck.

The Artemis Tour makes two stops in Southern California in late August at The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on the 30th and at San Diego Civic Theater in San Diego on the 31st – tickets available for both shows here. After completing the US leg of The Artemis Tour Stirling heads to Australia in early 2022.

Don’t miss Lindsey Stirling live as it will leave you with a whole new appreciation of her amazing talent. For all tour dates be sure to check out
