UFO @ The Coach House – 03/20/2016

UFO @ The Coach House – 03/20/2016UFO began clear back in 1969 with International success throughout the 70’s and made a stop in San Juan Capistrano on Sunday night March 20 to play a SOLD OUT show.

Original vocalist Phil Mogg is quite dynamic and able to continue to represent with his amazing vocals. Vinnie Moore tore it up on guitar as one would suspect and played the Michael Schenker solos with ease but with an 80’s metal edge during the bands 90 minute performance. Andy Parker on drums and Paul Raymond on guitar/keys were equally outstanding respectively. Rob De Luca, prior Sebastian Bach band , joined UFO in 2008 to replace Pete Way and was fantastic holding down the base lines and presenting a cool stage presence.

The band played most of the 70’s hits as well as some tracks off their newest album A Conspiracy Of Stars. Overall a show well worth seeing and based on the cheering and crowd participation, truly a proven delight for all of UFO’s fan base.

The supporting band was the Michael Olivieri Band fronted by Michael Olivieri whom also is the lead singer for the metal band Leather Wolf. MOB was a perfect warm up of a blended of rock, blues and southern rock n roll.
